    Obituary for Martin C. Estep

    Martin C. Estep, age 73, of Mio, Oscoda County, MI, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Eureka, MO. He was born June 30, 1944 in Flint Michigan, the son of the late Marvin Estep and Lodama (VanSchaick) Estep. She survives. He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Estep.
    He is survived by his wife: Laura (Wietfeldt) Estep, who he married in 1998; one daughter: Ginger (Brent) Canup; one son: Chad (Petra) Estep; four granddaughters: Morgan (Corey) Pickering, Margaux Canup, Rebecca Estep, and Leandra Estep; and his former wife Leandra (Schaffer) Estep.
    Martin was a retired truck driver at Inner City Trucking and Brockman Heavy Haul. A life Member of the American Legion Post 162, Luzerne, life member of Mio Masonic Lodge 596, Elf Kharafeh Shriner, President Oscoda County Shriners.
    Martin enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, and sitting by the campfire in the evening.
    A celebration of Martin’s life will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 162, Luzerne MI
